5 ways to write faster with your mobile

Swipe

If you haven’t tried a keyboard with swipe yet, you should. Basically it is about writing by sliding through the different letters, instead of having to press one by one. I never believed that it was possible to write faster with a smartphone than with a computer. I always thought that writing with a mobile would be boring for me. However, after using SwiftKey, and after a while, it happened to me that I wanted the physical keyboard of my computer to allow me to use swipe to type. In my opinion, SwiftKey is the best swipe keyboard out there. It is the one that best recognizes the words we want to write. There are other options, like the same Google Keyboard, but I always end up using SwiftKey again.

Fleksy

It is the mobile keyboard with which the world record has been broken. It stands out for having very large letters, for the existence of a large space between the different letters, and for occupying more space on the screen. In addition, it is an intelligent keyboard, with which you will even be able to recognize and correct typing errors. It is not easy to say which of the two is better, if SwiftKey or Fleksy, and it will depend on whether we use swipe to write, or if we write in the classic style.

Dvorak

Earlier we said that the world record with a smartphone has been set with Fleksy as the keyboard. However, the overall world record that has been achieved with a conventional keyboard has been with the Dvorak key layout. This arrangement puts the keys in a different location than the QWERTY keyboard. Obviously, at first we will not be able to type fast with this keyboard, but we must bear in mind that it is the keyboard with which the world record has been broken, so maybe after we get used to it, we will still be able to write more Quick. Some keyboards, like Google’s, allow you to change the type of key layout, and we usually find this in the Keyboard Settings, under Languages.

Google Now

For you

Of course, the truth is that sometimes it is easier to say something than to write it. If you are one of those who are still not capable of writing very fast with your mobile, it may be easier for you to use the voice writing that all smartphones incorporate today. Normally, a button is integrated into the keyboard, which is a microphone, and when you press it, we can speak. The smartphone will recognize our voice and will convert the spoken words into written words. If we speak clearly, close to the smartphone, and there is not much noise around us, it can work very well. We can even use it to write very long messages.

Keyboard

Physical keyboard

As a last option, we can buy a physical keyboard. There are small physical keyboards for smartphones. There are even those that are integrated into the smartphone itself. But if we don’t want to spend so much money on a specific keyboard, we can always use a keyboard for a computer or tablet that has Bluetooth. Since all smartphones today have Bluetooth, we will only have to connect it to the smartphone, configure the language that we want (and even Dvorak), and type with this physical keyboard on the smartphone.
