Archos launches in Spain three new tablets from its Platinum range

One of the common characteristics that the new models have is that the processor they integrate is a model of quad-core -ARM Cortex A9- operating at a frequency of 1.6 GHz, which on paper allows them a good performance and, even, that the execution of Full HD videos is made with great fluidity. Additionally, all the new tablets in the Archos Platinum range arrive with Dual Band WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, miniHDMI output and also include a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 Mpx front camera.

Two of the three models announced, two of them include 2GB of RAM, 97b Platinum HD, 101 Platinum, while the Archos 80b Platinum tablet only has 1GB. Of course, everyone used the version Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as an operating system – with access to the Google Play Store (including content with DRM) -.

Thanks to the inclusion of this type of LCD panels, the image quality of the Archos models is quite good, being in all cases at least compatible with HD. Of course, the 97b Platinum HD model is the most remarkable in this section since it reaches a resolution of a 2,048 x 1,536, so it is in line with the most cutting-edge devices on the current market.
