Xiaomi Redmi Note 5: the mobile-for-everything
Xiaomi has presented its two new mobiles Redmi for 2018: the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The company highlights the advances of both terminals with respect to the Redmi Note 4, and is that both devices embrace the 6-inch screen and a front with almost no frames to adapt to the new times. Xiaomi has presented the terminals in India, where they are the first brand – they have also celebrated their fourth position globally.
After placing 9,624,110 units of the Redmi Note 4 on the market, Xiaomi has presented what they call the biggest advance in the history of Redmi. He Redmi Note 5 is promoted as the all-rounder, the mobile for everything. It has a 5’99-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and a aspect-ratio of 18: 9. It has a metal body and is the thinnest Redmi Note ever. The battery is 4,000 mAh, more than enough to overcome a day of intensive use.
In the rear of the device are the fingerprint reader and the only 12 MP rear camera, which stands out for improving its results in low light conditions: the new sensor captures 56% more light per pixel. The 5 MP front camera features an LED flash that will enhance selfies. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass and yes, it has a headphone jack port.
The CPU is a Snapdragon 625 and the GPU an Adreno 506. It has a variant 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that will go on sale for € 125.9; and a second variant of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that will be priced at € 151.15. It will go on sale in four colors: Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro: 6 GB of RAM and the beast camera
While the Redmi Note 5 would be the basic version, the Redmi Note 5 Pro It is the advanced version of the same device. The body is basically the same, but we find changes from the moment we look at the CPU, which will release the Snapdragon 636 worldwide. It will offer 6 GB of RAM and a dual rear camera that they do not hesitate to name as Beast. It will have a 12 MP Sony sensor for the main information and a 5 MP Samsung sensor to capture background information and take pictures with the background out of focus.
However, the 20 MP sensor in the front camera will also be able to blur the background and take selfies in portrait mode, thanks to developments in artificial intelligence. It is not its only advantage, since Xiaomi releases its own Face Unlock for the device – it also keeps the fingerprint reader in the rear area.
