Check the battery level of your Android from PC and other devices

Surely you have more than one Android device in your home and, sometimes, it is difficult to know the battery level of all of them (or it can even become quite uncomfortable to check each of them). With Potential, a new application in beta, you can check the battery and check some of the functions from your device from any PC with Windows 8 or 8.1 and other Android devices.

The most normal thing is that we always carry our phone with us, but it is also likely that at home we have the odd tablet and even another Android smartphone. A quick look at any of them will tell us how much battery you have left, but what if the tablet is in another room? How can we know what is left of life? Yes, you can get up off the couch and look at it, or even go up those stairs to the second floor and see for yourself, but surely an app like Potential it can do it for you and without you having to do practically anything.

Potential synchronizes all our devices in a single account so that, through any of our devices, we can check battery level of everyone else, as well as control some of its functions such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. Also, the app is fully free –Although for a small amount we will have some other extra function, such as the low battery alert on our devices when one of them is close to β€œdying” – and it must be installed in each of our Android products.

The best of all is that if we normally work with the computer and it has Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, we can also install the application through the Microsoft Windows store and have the same possibilities from our mouse. After downloading the application and running it on our Android tablet or phone, we enter an email address and password before pressing the connect option – we will receive a confirmation email. We will then be prompted to enter a descriptive name for the device we are using and thus easily identify it whenever we want.

We must repeat this process on each of the phones and tablets that we want to monitor remotely, including the computer. As you can see, Potential is a fairly simple but very interesting and well-designed application, especially on Android thanks to Material Design. If you are interested, this is the link to download the app on Google Play and this other from the Windows Store. It is currently in beta, so expect bugs and new redesigns.

As always, we recommend you go through our applications section to find out all those useful applications for your Android.
