Delete about 100 unnecessary apps from your Samsung Galaxy S4

It is something we are already used to and it is a situation that goes back several generations in the history of mobile telephony, but it does not stop being a nuisance. Yes, we are talking about all those applications that we find on our smartphones courtesy of operators or manufacturers. Well, now we put at your disposal a script that will allow you to eliminate about a hundred of those, in many cases useless, applications from your Samsung Galaxy s4.

And it is that we do not forget that, although we have paid penny by penny the terminal or we have promised to be faithful to the operator on duty during the next 12, 18, 24 or 36 months; our brand new phone will most likely come with a long list of applications – also known as bloatware – that we have neither asked for, nor will use throughout the life of the device.

Some of these applications can be easily uninstalled, but many others can cause problems or are a bit intimidating for less advanced users. To solve it we bring you the scrpit TrulyClean developed by the user schoolsux, from xda-developers, which will allow you to get rid of about a hundred unwanted applications easily, simply and for the whole family.

The script is compatible with the i9500 and i9505 versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and to be able to use it we will only have to install it (flash it) from our SD card through the Custom Recovery that we have and execute it once we restart the terminal. Even so, and for a better result, the developer recommends making a backup – well, we recommend this -, do a deep cleaning (or wipes) of the system and install a custom ROM before installing and running on our Galaxy S4 the script.

For those users who are facing TrulyClean for the first time there is a simple tutorial that will guide them when it comes to editing the list of applications to be removed since, among others, some apps such as Gmail, Google Earth, Google+, are selected as unnecessary the serial browser or Samsung Hub. In total, around 600 megabytes of unnecessary apps will disappear from your Samsung Galaxy S4.
