With almost a decade of smartphones on the market, our fingers have had to get used to smaller and smaller keyboards, and at the same time larger keyboards with the arrival of phablets. Now that we have trained them with great clarity and precision, it is worth giving them a break thanks to one of the functions that integrates the keyboard for android of Google and few users know
The advent of voice dictation apps are making it easier than ever to communicate not with our thumbs, but with our voices. The latest example of an application of this type is TalkType, a keyboard for android which has just been launched in the Google Play Store and it turns out to be a very comfortable and reliable system to keep in touch with our family or friends. In addition, this type of application is really useful to respond to messages when our hands are busy or we cannot make normal use of the smartphone.
Unfortunately, this app is only available in English, but for those who do not know, Google’s own keyboard facilitates this operation.
How does voice dictation work?
When you open the android keyboard Not only will you find the classic QWERTY set, but you will also see a button in the shape of a microphone that you must press to dictate the text you want to send through the application you are in.
This button is often confused with that of the voice notes of applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram. To locate it, make sure that it is included in the keyboard area, generally located at the top right after the latest updates.
As is often the case with other voice dictation applications, users will see how the text field is automatically filled with the words that we are dictating to them.
After the dictation, you can send the message by pressing the send button in the application you are in, or even delete the message word by word. On the same voice dictation screen you can find the app settings.
Then we leave you the download link with the most updated version of the google keyboard so that you can now try to dictate all your texts on Android.
