Android is the most used operating system in the world, but we must not forget that it is an operating system for smartphones and tablets, not for computers. At least not yet. However, there are already developers working to make Android ports for computers. Remix OS is one of them, but now Jide, the developer of this, has released Remix OS Player, an emulator to easily and quickly run Android on your Windows computer.
Remix OS Player
Remix OS was already well known among the most staunch Android users. Basically, it is an Android port that can be installed on a computer to use it as a PC’s own operating system. However, Jide, the company that is responsible for the development of this port, has now released Remix OS Player, a very useful solution, and more practical than Remix OS Player. Basically, it is an emulator for our computer, so that we can run Android on our Windows PC without having to replace this operating system. In addition, we can run it while we are using the computer, obviously, so we can have both the applications that we use on the PC normally and the apps that we use with Android.
The best thing is that this emulator is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it is quite up-to-date, and includes an important feature very typical of any computer, and that is multitasking. That is, we can run two apps simultaneously on our computer, so that we can have several apps running, something that will be very useful for applications that we can only run on mobiles and are not yet available or do not have a client for a computer. Remix OS Player is one of the best options to run those apps and it is a really practical solution because we don’t have to give up our usual operating system, but simply use this emulator. The best thing is that we don’t have to install it either, just download the .exe file and run it directly in Windows. Once this is done, we will even have the possibility of using Google Play to download the apps we want.
