Before, people went to buy gifts in stores. However, with the passage of time, people got tired of giving things away that later the recipient will change. And gift cards have become fashionable. But it seems that there are even gift cards for app stores. Google Play Spain already has these cards, which can be purchased from Spanish stores.
Four more countries have received these cards, and they are Austria, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. The last of these will have three, 30, 50 and 100 Swiss francs. The other three countries will also have three different cards, 15, 25 and 50 euros. These cards can be purchased in Spanish establishments, physical stores, where they will be sold to us for the price each of the three cards costs, and that money can later be spent on Google Play applications.
They are called gift cards, so each of us can go and buy these cards to give them to someone else. They are a good choice for an elderly person to whom we are going to give a smartphone, or who has just bought a smartphone, and we want them to be able to download payment applications without having to enter their credit card details. It is also a good option for those who have very young children, and do not trust to put the card details on their smartphone so that they can buy all the applications they want.
And do not forget that, even if they are gifts, anyone can buy them for themselves. If we do not want to give our credit card details to Google, or we do not have a card directly, we can buy a prepaid card using normal money in any establishment that has them in our city, and use the code that comes with these cards to add that balance to our Google account, being able to use it when we go to buy any application.
