It is no surprise that Google is adding more advertising in different ways, a few months ago we talked about Google introducing shopping and advertising in the image search engine, and now it seems that they are adding even more.
More apps with ads. Discovery Ads
More applications are adding to Google’s advertising policies. And it is that apps such as YouTube, the news feed (Google Now) and other apps such as Gmail, and including the image search engine that we already had, are the ones that have now suffered (or will suffer) an increase in sales advertising while browsing for her.
Google has called them Discovery ads (discovery ads) as they will show products or services that you will be interested in buying or discovering. It will be advertising mainly for a product, to be able to access the purchase link immediately.
Of course, everything that is advertisement will be warned, and will be related to what we usually consume, as happens in other social networks such as Facebook or Instagram, advertising will try to be as less intrusive as possible, but it will be there.
But they are not the only type of ads they want to add, we will also have the gallery ads. These ads will consist of an image carousel with up to eight images that you can view by swiping. Very similar to the slider photos we have on Instagram so you can get an idea of how it will work.
The Mountain View company claims that these ads “They inspire the consumer with a blank canvas to learn new brands and products.” That’s why bet on these gallery ads with several images, to see different options of similar products that may interest you.
Showcase Shopping Ads
These ads are the same that we saw in your image search engine, these ads that show images of how the product can be in real use, and that with a touch will direct us to the purchase link.
All these announcements will be implemented little by little, but we will see them fully implemented later in the year, but it will be this year when we will see it.
What do you think? Do you see well that Google adds more ads for the services it gives us? Or are there already enough for what it offers? Leave it in comments!
