Goodbye Google Drive: Google One arrives in Spain
Google drive has been with us for a long time as the cloud service of the Great G. Rival of Dropbox, It allowed to host all the documents that we wanted to complete the capacity. The service was rounded off, in addition, with the creation of documents, spreadsheets, presentations … A whole office suite that rivals Microsoft Office and it does not take up storage space. In theory, infinite documents can be created.
But everything evolves, everything advances and it is time for Google Drive to die. A few months ago it was announced that it would be replaced by Google One and now this promise is fulfilled. Goodbye Google Drive: Google One arrives in Spain. And what does it offer? The company itself describes it like this:
“More storage, access to Google experts, and more, all in one sharing plan.”
This means that changes are made to the storage plans that were available to date, in addition to adding new storage options. support and new options to share an account with your family. The new Google One is also more cross with Gmail or Google Photos, so it is easier to control the storage you are using and understand what you can and cannot delete.
All of this is accompanied by a new app for Android. Of course, to access all this, the platform change must first be activated. So far, only users who are paying for extra storage are seeing the service change. Users who avail themselves of the free 15 GB should keep waiting.
These are the prices of Google One in Spain
Storage plans are also modified. The 15 GB free plan is maintained, but the rest are not. Google One plans and prices are as follows:
- 15 GB – Free.
- 100 GB – € 20.99 / year.
- 200 GB – € 2.99 / month.
- 2 TB – € 9.99 / month.
- 10 TB – € 99.99 / month.
- 20 TB – € 199.99 / month.
- 30 TB – € 299.99 / month.
The cheapest plan exceeds 20 euros per year, and you cannot pay month to month. Starting with the 200 GB plan, it is paid monthly. The 2 TB plan is perhaps the most reasonable for the average user, since prices skyrocket from there. those latter plans are more appropriate for companies that really need Google One in their day to day.
