On mobile devices Android we have the option to install Microsoft Word; Despite that, our recommendation is to use the office suite that we like the most or that is similar to our priorities, be it Microsoft Office or another. With these apps, in addition to create Word documents of text, we can also make presentations compatible with PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets. The first step, obviously, will be to download the application that we will need for this, although to exemplify this we have chosen the Google Drive editor.

Once the Word editor is open and downloaded, we will open it and see a file explorer. But if what we want is to create a file, then in the lower right corner we will give the circular icon with a ‘plus’ of colors in the center. Here we have the option of starting on the basis of a template, or of creating a New document, and the latter is what we will do. When clicking here, as it would happen on our computer, a new document of Word blank, no content of any kind.

Using the keyboard of our smartphone we can write the content we want. And just above the keyboard we have the format bar with options to make text bold, italic, or underlined. In this same section, we can also change the color of the font from black to any other; and next to it, we have the button highlighted to put a colored background on the text.

At the top we have left and right arrows to undo and redo changes, and next to the text adjustment to apply default formats, change the font, modify the size, and so on. And the next button is to insert links, images, tables, horizontal lines, page breaks, page numbers, or a footnote to the document. When we have finished with our Word document we can click on the three-point icon in the upper right corner, then on the option Share and export and then the button Save as to choose the format Word, with extension docx.
