Nostalgia, powerful ally
Nostalgia sells. Well they know it in Nintendo with their Classic Mini consoles, which have been a great success with the NES and the SNES and most likely also with the Nintendo 64. The memory of some things makes them better and allows that, when they return, they have a pull that does not would have otherwise. This is also known at Nokia with its new versions of classic mobiles and now Google He is also aware of the return of his classic blobs.
These ancient emoticons were the main Android before being inevitably replaced. Nothing foreshadowed that their hair would be seen again, but nevertheless, Google he has decided to get them back in a way. He has done it through the application of Google keyboard and also Android Messages, where you can use the classics blob in the form of stickers.

How to have the classic Android emojis on GBoard: stickers are the key
As we say, the return of the blob is in the form of a sticker, so all we have to do is add the corresponding packages. To do this, open an application in which you can type with the Google keyboard and expand it. Click on the Google G, select the stickers button and then click on the green + button at the bottom right. You will now find yourself in a new window where you can search for the stickers you prefer.
Among the first you will find one called Blobs are back. Press it to see the selection chosen by Google and then press on the heart to add them to favorites. Go back and you will have them as one more option within the Google Keyboard sticker menu. You can select the one you like the most and send them as an image. There are animated ones too, so they will be sent as a gif when you select them.
Little more remains to be added. The method chosen by Google is the most suitable to recover a small classic element of Android that I couldn’t go back any other way. Thanks to this, those who really want to recover the blobs can, while the experience is not transformed for those for whom it is not so important.
