  • Press Ctrl + Alt + T. In the window that appears type uname -m. If x86_64 is listed, your model is supported.

Step 1: enter Developer mode

Come back in in this link and find your Chromebook. Click on their name and follow the steps of Entering Developer Mode to activate the mode and move on. This is the step that will erase all the content on your Chromebook.

Step 2: open the Chrome command console

crosh is the name of the Chrome command console. You can open it using Ctrl + Alt + T and start entering commands. Type shell and you will enter the next level, a command window with more accesses.

Step 3: install the script

Enter the following command in your console:

curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nathanchance/chromeos-adb-fastboot/master/install.sh | bash

With that command, a script will be installed that will automatically take care of everything you need to install ADB and Fastboot.

Step 4: check that everything has been installed correctly

When the process is finished, check that the installation has been carried out correctly. To do this, use the commands adb –version and fastboot –version. They should both respond by saying that they have settled on the path / usr / local / bin. As a final measure, you can restart your Chromebook to finish the installation. From there, you can connect your mobile to the Chromebook and use ADB and Fastboot.
