How to turn your photos into 8-bit images

We see that vintage is in fashion practically every day with the filters of photography applications, with retro consoles launched on the market or with Android games based on classics from the eighties and nineties. If you are one of the nostalgic people who enjoy these games and who is able to spend hours watching this content againOr, you will like your images to be converted to 8-bit images.

Convert your photos into 8-bit images

To achieve this, simply download an application. A free application called 8Bit Photo Lab that we can find in the Google Play Store and that allows you to take pictures with your phone and modify them until it is an 8-bit image. In addition to taking pictures with the app, you can also import them from the device’s gallery to modify the ones you have already taken.

There are predefined filters that we will add just like any other photo retouching app. There are templates of the most mythical consoles such as the NES; the GameBoy, the GameBoy Advance … And others that will remind you of the Apple II, the ZX Spectrum or the Commodore 16, for example.

Further, to the templates you can add effects to complete them as noise or modify the resolution until our image is completely to our liking. Not only will you be able to touch the different aspects but you will also be able to add stickers and characteristic elements such as the Super Mario blocks or the cannon balls that we all know.
