Huawei’s Turbo GPU adds support for new games like Fortnite

EMUI, the customization layer for Huawei and Honor phones (the latter is a sub-brand of the Chinese firm), has among its list of features one that is especially interesting for gamers: GPU Turbo. GPU Turbo, which is now in its version 3.0, is a game acceleration software increasing its performance without having serious consequences on the battery, which in fact reduces its consumption in this mode. And now GPU Turbo has added new supported games to its list, and you might be interested in them.

With the release of the new Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, phones that boast a lot of power, RAM and screen, Huawei has wanted to add new games to the GPU Turbo list, which until now was very scarce with just 6 games, a list that now increases up to 25 games. An important update coming to you with EMUI 9.1.

Yes, new games on the supported list, and if you are a regular player on your Huawei or Honor mobile phone, you may be interested, since there are games as popular as Fortnite or Minecraft.

This is the list of new supported games:

  • Fornite

Interesting news, with popular games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Subway Surfers or the famous football games PES or FIFA Mobile.

These are in addition to the games that were already supported for this technology, which are the following:

  • Player Unknown’s Battleground Mobile (PUBG Mobile)
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
  • Vainglory
  • Arena of Valor
  • Rules of Survivor
  • NBA 2K18

This will allow you to have a better experience in these games, with less fps drops and possibly more of them. In addition, this is not only limited for its high-end phones, but phones such as the Honor 7X or the Honor 9 Lite can also enjoy this technology.

We hope to see this system on all the phones that Huawei is releasing, although at the moment the list of phones that enjoy this is quite extensive, we can even see the aforementioned Honor 7X or Honor 9 Lite, but we also find even cheaper phones like the P Smart.
