Dead Ahead is a casual game, so you should not expect it to offer a very complex story in which you have to keep track of the progress you make. But this does not mean that entertainment is assured. As for the objective that must be met to move forward, this is simple: escape from zombies using a motorcycle and, to a lesser extent, weapons.
The protagonist’s progress is horizontal, so the Android device in which it is used must be used in landscape, and this allows the areas to be displayed correctly. By the way, it is as important to escape from the zombies as not to be scrupulous with them, because if you find one on your way, the best solution is to run him over. No more no less.
Therefore, and as it has become clear, there are no major complications when using this title. And, in addition, this is accompanied by a very simple handling. The touch screen and you simply have to move your finger to the side where you want the bike to move. Additionally there are two important buttons: one is to accelerate, which should be used when a horde of zombies are close, and the other to shoot, which turns the protagonist to try to reach the undead that are chasing him.
With graphics from another era
This is one of the details that attracts the attention of Dead Ahead, since it is reminiscent of titles that existed years ago (the golden age of 16-bit, for example) and gives a “retro” aspect to the game. We say this because the pixels are very evident, something that the youngest may find strange. The fact is that they give a different touch and it shows that this title is not very pretentious when it comes to getting the user to have fun, something that it certainly does. What is not so good is the sound section, which is not very varied and ends up tiring.
If I want to highlight the introduction of the game, since it seemed to me pretty quality and striking (again, reminiscent of years ago). With it, the story that leads the protagonist to have to flee from the zombies and the reason why he rides a motorcycle through the different levels that Dead Ahead consists of is known -where there are also more powerful final enemies, as it cannot be Another way-. By the way, the difficulty from the third level increases considerably.
Other interesting details
An example of this are the additional objectives that exist, such as getting run over a certain number of zombies or jumping over obstacles on the road. This gives Dead Ahead an addictive bonus, which is always appreciated. Besides, it is possible improve both the weapons that are used, which at the beginning are very ineffective, like the motorcycles that are driven (among the latter, I cannot stop recommending the sidecar, it is really lethal). By the way, with the passage of time it is possible to find more characters alive …
Dead Ahead game is fun and you can download free in Galaxy Apps Y Play Store. It is not very demanding on the graphics so its compatibility is very wide (in addition, it only needs 23 MB of free space and Android 2.3.3 or higher). One detail to know is that it does not offer multiplayer options – although the achievements do they can communicate through social networks. Without a doubt, a title that is worth trying since it does not take a lot of time and it is not difficult to learn to play it.
