Motorola Moto G 2015 vs Huawei P8 Lite: definitive comparison, my opinion about it

Motorola Moto G 2015, a very discreet renewal

I have had the opportunity to test all the Motorola Moto G released so far. And I must say that, of all of them, the one I liked the most was the first. Of course, over time it became a relatively bad smartphone. The Motorola Moto G 2014 was also a smartphone with a fairly good quality / price ratio, although it could have included some more notable improvement. The Motorola Moto G 2015 for me has been a very discreet renovation, almost what the mobile of the previous generation should have been. And the worst, the arrival of the mobile in two versions, one more expensive than the other. The economic one should never have been launched. However, right now the price of the advanced version is the same as that of other mid-range mobiles, 200 euros, making it a great option.

In itself, it is a good mid-range smartphone, although a non-entry-level processor, such as the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, would have left an almost perfect smartphone. The lack of this is very remarkable. This version also has a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, which are the characteristics that a mobile must have to work well. Its 13 megapixel camera is good, perhaps more than it may seem, since the software that manages the photographs is quite good. And the fact that it is waterproof seems to me quite remarkable. The battery has a capacity of 2,470 mAh.

The best of the Motorola Moto G 2015 in my opinion: The camera it has is quite good. The photos that are obtained thanks to the camera management software are of great quality. In addition, the smartphone is waterproof.

The worst of the Motorola Moto G 2015 in my opinion: Its design, a large mobile, with a thickness of more than one centimeter. But above all its Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor that must have been, in reality, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615.

Why buy the Motorola Moto G 2015? Because you’ve had a Motorola before, and you’ve gotten used to its interface and how it works.

Huawei P8 Lite

The Huawei P8 Lite, for me, is better than the Motorola Moto G 2015. It is a very similar smartphone, actually. Its design is based on that of the flagship, the Huawei P8, although it is not metallic. However, it is still a fairly thin smartphone, with a thickness of only 7.7 millimeters. Perhaps its design is what differentiates it most from the Motorola Moto G 2015. They have almost the same screen, 5 inches with an HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. Neither of the two has a Full HD screen, something that would have been decisive in either case. And although they have different processors, because it integrates the Huawei Kirin 620 with eight cores, in the end they are very similar in performance. You are going to have some lag when typing on the keyboard in both cases, perhaps the most notable for a user who has been able to use a high-end smartphone. Its battery, yes, is 2,200 mAh, which could seem very little for a smartphone. Its autonomy reaches a day, like that of almost all mobile phones, but it is true that the battery is of low capacity.

Huawei P8 Lite Cover

The best of the Huawei P8 Lite in my opinion: Its design is much better than the Motorola Moto G 2015. It is a lighter mobile than the Motorola smartphone. It also captures photos of a quality similar to those of the Motorola Moto G 2015, so it is not a differential factor.

The worst of the Huawei P8 Lite in my opinion: Your battery, which could be of a higher capacity. And above all that it is not waterproof, like the Motorola Moto G 2015.

Why buy the Huawei P8 Lite? Mainly because of its design. It is more beautiful and the design is more optimized than in the case of the Motorola Moto G 2015. There is not a big difference in performance, but perhaps this year the Huawei P8 Lite has managed to beat the Motorola Moto G 2015 by having a better design.
