Good hardware has to be accompanied by good software, that is clear. And at Samsung they are experts in providing solutions with software that can help you in your day to day. Especially in the Note range, where implementations for the S-Pen and options typical of the range are usually of quite quality.
PlayGalaxy Link: Streaming from your PC games to your mobile
Now the new option that is presented to us is the most interesting for players who are owners of these devices (or will be, since it has been released recently).
We talk about PlayGalaxy Link. That will allow you stream your PC games to your Note 10 and play them via streaming. Something similar to how Google Stadia will work, but the server is you, specifically, your computer.
Although it will work with a method similar to how it works Link to Windows. A Note app that allows us to use our mobile phone (SMS, calls, etc.) from our Windows computer.
This was discussed at your event Unpacked, which, as we have said, was on August 7, that is, last week. A video on Samsung’s YouTube channel perfectly shows how this service will work.
You may also be familiar with similar options. And it is that very recently we talked about Steam Link, a Valve application, developers of Steam (and some of the most popular PC video games) that allowed you to connect your computer running Steam with your mobile phone in order to play. This will be available for any mobile phone, but if you have a Galaxy Note 10, you can enjoy your own app, without having to install anything extra.
But if you are a regular Steam gamer and that is where you store most of your games, you may also be interested in knowing that Steam Link has its own version for Samsung phones (Steam Link for Galaxy), and that you can download from your Galaxy Store app store.
The advantages of PlayGalaxy Link
The main advantage that PlayGalaxy Link offers us over Steam Link, Valve’s alternative, is that PlayGalaxy Link also works through mobile data.
Of course we can also do it without being connected to the same Wi-Fi network, which is mandatory with Steam Link.
On the other hand, if you do not stand out for your patience, with Steam Link you can now play and try these options, while, with PlayGalaxy Link we will have to wait a month.
