An even better screen
The Samsung Galaxy S6 will have one of the best cameras on the market, if Samsung continues to manufacture screens of a level as high as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, considered the best screen on the market. Although we can expect a completely new Samsung Galaxy S6 and different from what Samsung usually launches, when we talk about the company that makes the best mobile screens, what we want is that it does not vary. The size of the screen has not yet been determined, although it will be between 5.1 and 5.5 inches, depending on the success of the Nexus 6, and the Galaxy Note 4. They will probably try to make it a rival to the iPhone 6 Plus, with a 5.5 inch screen. This new screen would also be Super AMOLED, as is obvious. The resolution will be higher than that of the Galaxy S5, being a Quad HD screen, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The best thing is that since the screen will be smaller than that of the Galaxy Note 4, the pixel density will be even higher.
64-bit processor and 3GB RAM
The processor will be one of the most remarkable components of the Samsung Galaxy S6. It will arrive in two different versions, but in both cases we are talking about a 64-bit processor. One of the versions will feature the Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, an eight-core processor, made up of two quad-core processors, one with Cortex-A53 architecture, and the other with Cortex-A57 architecture. The same is the case with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, a processor that is actually very similar to the Exynos. Probably the version that will arrive in Spain will be the one with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The RAM of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will also be higher than that of the Samsung Galaxy S5, reaching 3 GB.
16 or 20 megapixel camera
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is not official yet, and even the Samsung team has not determined what the precise technical specifications of the smartphone will be. The camera, for example, could be 16 or 20 megapixels. Of course, reaching 20 megapixels would be vital for the camera to be better than that of the Samsung Galaxy S5, and to compete with other smartphones that so far seemed to be better, as is the case of the Sony that have cameras of 20 megapixels. However, it is something that is not yet clear. It seems, yes, that one of the most likely options is that it has the Sony IMX240 sensor, with optical image stabilization.
Apple has launched the iPhone 6, as well as the iPad Air 2, with three memory options, the cheapest being the one with a 16 GB memory, and others with 64 and 128 GB, not having the 32 GB version. . The Samsung Galaxy S6 would have a memory of 32 GB in its most basic version, although with two other versions of 64 and 128 GB. In addition, this memory could be expanded by means of a microSD card of up to 128 GB.
One of the novelties that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will have will not be in the design, but in its connectivity, and in the components related to this connectivity. It will be the first smartphone that will have a single processor for all connectivity, instead of each sensor having its own processor. It is the Broadcom BCM4773, which is responsible for managing both the GPS, movement and proximity sensors, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth. By being a single processor, you will save on space and energy consumption. In addition, the Galaxy S6 will also have an LTE modem manufactured by Samsung itself, the Exynos Modem 333. The main feature of this modem is that it will consume less battery than conventional 4G modems.
Finally, we cannot forget the design, which will be another of Samsung’s newest features. The company removed Samsung’s chief designer from his post. That means the company could completely innovate with the new Samsung Galaxy S6. Of course, a completely different smartphone could be the key to its success. Also, it will be made of metal, so this should also help make the smartphone appear of higher quality, and rival Apple’s iPhone 6.
Its launch, it seems, would be in the month of March of next year 2015.
