Samsung has now registered the name as a trademark. The company has waited until now to register Samsung Hello, a name that could be the most common, but that has much more logic in an intelligent assistant than the one we knew until now, and that it was called as Bixby. It is true that Siri is not a very common name, but the truth is that in this case the company would have chosen to name the intelligent assistant that way.
Samsung Hello will not be especially novel, but will simply come to be one more rival for Siri and Google Assistant. He will be dedicated to listening to our questions and trying to come up with answers to them.
Rival of Siri and Google Assistant
Samsung Hello could have some keys to succeed against Siri and Google Assistant. It is logical that it will be a more interesting option than Siri for users who have an iPhone. Not for nothing, but because Siri is not available on Samsung. But it will also offer advantages over Google Assistant. Mainly for Spanish-speaking users. The Google assistant is not available in Spanish, while Samsung Hello would be able to understand eight languages. Spanish will probably be among them considering that it is the second most widely spoken language in the world, and that Samsung has always given Spain a key importance when launching its services (Samsung Pay arrived in Spain long before other countries).
We will see exactly what Samsung Hello is, if it will only be available in the Samsung Galaxy S8, and if it is capable of offering more features than Google Assistant or Siri. So far, it must be said, these smart assistants have not been really useful, so it remains to be seen if Samsung Hello is capable of offering something really valuable compared to its rivals.
