The concept could not be simpler: you have to pass level after level with your ship without ending your lives. If to this you add a top view and that the ship is controlled in the lower part of the screen … clearly you are facing a game that simulates the “Matamarcianos” to those that were played a few years ago in “recreational games.” Therefore, they have the good and bad of these: they are addictive and simple (even the smallest of the house can play), but they are simple and you can’t ask for more than to kill and kill … but, what the hell, sometimes That’s enough.
Graphically the game is not the best on the market, far from it, but meets perfectly for these types of titles. Of course, what is well worked are the designs of the rival aliens, which are very worked and different. This is always appreciated, since this way the game is not repeated constantly.
Here you have a video in which you can see Star Defender 4 in action:
Few requirements to play
First of all, I must say that the sound is, perhaps, its great defect. At first it is interesting, but being repetitive it ends up tiring and, surely, as it happened to me you will end up being able to disconnect it since it ends up “grinding”. Here, developers need to work a bit more.
The minimum requirements of this game are really low, as you only need Android 2.3.3 and 43 MB of free space, so it can be run in almost any current terminal. There are two versions in Google Play, one free in this link and another payment for € 1.54 that can be downloaded here.
