Super Mario Run on Android
Super Mario Run It was announced at the presentation of the iPhone 7 as an exclusive for Apple mobile. It was later said that it would come to Android as well, albeit over time. The game was launched in December, landing on the Cupertino company’s mobiles, but for now without reaching Android. It was a successful game, although it also received criticism for the high price that it had to achieve.
Later, Super Mario Run for Android became a reality, as the title appeared on the Google Play Store. And when we say “title”, it is not metaphorical, it is that the only thing that appeared is the title of the game along with the possibility of being informed of an upcoming release. Now we know when it will be released for Android, as the company has officially confirmed it. We will have to wait two more months, until March.
Exclusive on iOS
The key to launching this game so late is not that the developers at Nintendo have no idea how to create an Android game. Logically, it has nothing to do with it. It’s actually more about the company reaching an agreement with Apple to make the game a temporary exclusive to the iPhone 7. And so it has been. In fact, a March release for Android would fit in perfectly with the fact that the game would arrive exactly three months later for Google’s platform.
Of course, it will be interesting to see if they have considered a change in the game’s availability strategy. We talk about a change in the free-to-play mode, so that it is not so expensive to play Super Mario Run. Android users tend to spend less money directly on applications, so perhaps a change in the model of the game could come in its version for Android. It doesn’t seem logical considering how little they vary in Nintendo. So the most normal thing is that exactly the same Super Mario Run comes to Android … although three months later than to iOS.
