1.- SD card
Like any photographer today, one of the fastest ways to transfer photos and videos from our Android mobile to our PC is by means of an SD card. In fact, if we have several SD cards we can work even faster. How? Well, we don’t even have to download the photos from the mobile, but just change the card, just as we would in a camera. From here, it will be necessary to have an SD card reader on the computer. Since the mobile card is a microSD, we will have to have a microSD to SD adapter, if we have a reader integrated into the computer. If not, we can also have a USB microSD card reader, which we can find for little money, and even in some cases we can buy together with the memory card, or it is included. The faster the card, the easier the file transfer will be. If we have USB 3.0 Type-C in our smartphone, perhaps we could also make the transfer by connecting the cable, in multimedia mode, without having to remove the card.
2.- The Cloud
Yes I know. Uploading files to the Cloud and downloading them is nowhere near as fast as reading a microSD card, or performing a cable transfer. However, many platforms in the Cloud already have their own service to automatically transfer all the photos or videos that we take. This means that when we want a photo or video, we will not have to upload it, but it will already be uploaded. It is a fast way because let’s say that the mobile is constantly synchronizing with the Cloud when it has a WiFi network available and is connected to the electrical network. It is not literally a “fast” way to transfer files, but it is from a practical point of view, because everything is uploaded before we want to upload it. It only remains to download it, and unless they are very large video files, it will not take long with a high speed Internet connection like the one we always use with our computer.
