As you probably already know, these photos have not been published or sent by HTC, because in reality the company will still wait for the official launch to start using them. However, due to their high quality, and the style of the photos, it can be taken that they are company press photos, created to send to different specialized media and that they can use them in their articles. Or simply photographs that they will use to promote the smartphone on their website. Be that as it may, these photographs are called press photos. And we say they are “official” because even though HTC has not shipped them, we know they come from them.
In this case, they serve us to confirm some of the characteristics of this smartphone. For starters, it will have two high-quality cameras, 13 megapixels each, and a Dual LED Flash for both the rear camera and the front camera.
In addition to this, we can almost categorically affirm that it will be a plastic smartphone, and not an aluminum smartphone as is the case with the HTC One M8. The company opts for a cheaper material to make it more affordable and give it greater commercial potential, something that is appreciated. Finally, it must be said that there will be different versions in which the variable will be the color. In the case of these photographs we find a main color that is white, and a very light blue, and with a color for the detail of the frame that is more striking, red in the case of the white version, and blue in the case of the light blue version. We could also expect more color combinations, but that is something whose confirmation will still have to wait.
We will not have to wait much longer, by the way, because the launch of the new HTCs should occur on October 8, so next Wednesday they should confirm all the data and technical specifications that we had so far about the new HTC Desire Eye.
