Previously, it was said that the smartphone would be very similar to the flagship from which it inherited the name, the LG G2, even having a high-definition screen, which would have a size of 4.7 inches. We do not know exactly what the screen size would be, because the new data for this smartphone comes from a benchmark test related to an LG-D410, which seems to be, indeed, the new LG G2 Mini that we could see presented next January. However, we know that the screen will not be high definition because the test shows that it would have a display whose resolution would be 960 by 540 pixels, which means that it would be a qHD screen.
Apart from this, we also know new data about the heart of the terminal, and that is that it would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor capable of reaching a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz, which means that, at least in what refers to the processor, it would be the same as the Motorola Moto G, so I would not miss anything that had a 1 GB RAM. However, about the memory, as well as the rest of the technical specifications of the smartphone, we have no data, so at the moment it is all with which we can form an idea of what the smartphone would be like.
What is quite clear is that the price of this terminal could not be very high. The South Korean company could have among its plans to modify its strategy, with the aim of fighting against Motorola with a low-cost smartphone. However, this would be worse than Motorola’s, although it could be offered by operators for a price really similar to that of the Motorola Moto G with Yoigo, for example, which stays at 0 euros. In any case, we will still have to wait a bit, since everything seems to indicate that the LG G2 Mini It will be officially unveiled at CES 2014 which will take place in a few weeks.
