A strange smartphone. Until now we expected that the Moto G5 Plus will arrive with a 5.5-inch screen, as it had previously happened with the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus. However, the reality is that it might not be the case, as the new information tells us about a mobile with a 5.2-inch screen.
Moto G5 Plus with smaller screen
It’s weird because it seemed to have become the market standard. We are talking about 5.5-inch screens, which we see in mobiles whose price is even less than 100 euros. It is true that it will no longer be a question of price in the case of the Moto G5, but rather that Motorola has decided that this smartphone has a smaller screen. Although it is not entirely logical considering the success of the previous versions of the mobile, and the fact that the last Moto G4 had a screen that already reached 5.5 inches.
Be that as it may, this Moto G5 Plus would have a 5.2-inch screen, although, yes, it would be Full HD with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which means that we will find a mobile with a good pixel density .
Regarding the rest of the technical characteristics, it seems that we will find an eight-core processor, which will probably be a Qualcomm, and with a 3,000 mAh battery compatible with Turbo Charge fast charging technology.
To this should be added a high-quality camera, like the one on the previous Moto G4 Plus. In this case we would be left with a 12 megapixel sensor although with the possibility of dual focus by phase detection.
All this with a price that will be the logical one in a smartphone of this level, exceeding 200 euros, and probably close to 300 euros for the Plus version. It remains to determine the differences between the three versions, Moto G5, Plus and Play. But in any case, we are already beginning to see that there will be differences with respect to the previous Moto G4.
