We already knew that Motorola was going to release an update for the Motorola Moto G which would include the launcher of the search engine company, called Google Now Launcher. What we didn’t expect was that the company would release the update so soon. In reality, this just goes to show that if Motorola claims that it is working on an update, it means that it is actually working on such an update and that it will arrive in time. That should be the norm, but we marvel simply at the fact that it is not what usually happens with the rest of the companies.
Regarding the update, it is indicated that this also has the solution to some minor errors that are fixed with each update. However, the main feature of this new firmware version is that it brings Google Now Launcher as the main launcher of the smartphone. The change is not going to be great, because the launcher that the Motorola carried was the basic one, but there will be something new. For example, with Google Now Launcher, when we slide the screen to see the screen that is on the left of the main screen, we go to see Google Now, with all the information of the cards that we have configured. On the other hand, when we are in the main window, we just have to say Ok google, and give the voice command we want to activate an application, execute an action, or perform a Google search.
The update for the new Motorola Moto G has started to roll out, but it may not be available in all regions of the world yet, so if you have this terminal and don’t have news about the update, don’t worry, you should soon receive notification that a new system update is available. You can check yourself for updates at Settings> About phone> Software update.
