For the trip
1.- Gas stations Spain
If you are traveling and have to drive, or traveling by car, you will probably find the Gas Stations Spain application very interesting. With this app you can find out where the different gas stations on our roads are. In addition, it calculates the distance to each of these gas stations, the service offered by each of these and, most importantly, the price of the different fuels, so that we know where we will save when refueling. We are even given the option of omitting those gas stations with no price, closed, and those that have not updated their prices to avoid showing the increase. Gas stations Spain is free, and can be downloaded from Google play.
2.- Radardroid Lite
Another thing that you may be interested in knowing when you travel are fixed road radars. Radardroid Lite serves precisely to inform you of where these are on the path you are going to travel. What’s more, if you have GPS active, Radardroid Lite can go on and on alerting you when there is a nearby radar. Of course, we must bear in mind that if the GPS fails it does not warn, obviously, and that it does not warn about mobile radars. Radardroid Lite is a free application and can be downloaded from Google play.

3.- First Aid
Are you stung by a sea wasp and don’t know how you can get close to that 1% chance of survival? Have you made a small cut and want to know what color is your blood on the beach to choose a matching band-aid? Outside of jokes, it is always very useful to carry a small first aid guide with you. The First Aid application explains what we can do in cases of suffocation, cramps, seizures, lipothymia, burns, a dog bite, and even cardiorespiratory arrest. Includes images and descriptions of how we have to execute each procedure. On the one hand, we have the extra information about the specific condition, in case we want to consult it out of pure curiosity before something happens, but we can also click on the “First Aid” button once we have already chosen the emergency that occurs, and we it will show what we should do at that precise moment. The application also tells us how we have to act in general in situations, what procedures to follow, how to evaluate what happens and what techniques we can put into practice to solve everything in the best possible way. First Aid is an essential app, and is freely available at Google play.
After making sure of our health, it is time to focus on what surrounds us, and specifically, on the weather and the climatology of the place where we are. Whether we are looking for heat, cold, wind or snow, at AccuWeather we will find it. With a database of more than 2.7 million locations, there is nothing that this app will miss. It tells us the temperature of the moment, as well as the temperatures of the following days. In the same way, it informs us of the wind speed in normal conditions, and of what some gusts reach. We have data on the humidity of the area and its visibility, as well as the intensity of ultraviolet rays.
For photographers and wedding couples who want to walk under the sunset, it is interesting that they can know when the sun rises and when it sets. Apart from this, it is one of the best apps with radar to warn about bad weather, and captures where the storms are seen, and the movement of them, to be able to know how they are moving. And the most useful thing, it has the RealFeel data, the temperature sensation that we have at all times, not just the abstract one. AccuWeather for Android is free and can be downloaded now from Google play.
Often times when we travel abroad, we go without a high-speed data connection. Let’s face it, at certain times it can be essential and very urgent to connect to a network. WifiPass can help us connect to a network with compromised security. Of course, let’s remember that this is questionable, so it is best that we avoid it, and only use these methods in a delicate situation. wifiPass is a free app, which can be downloaded from Google play.
Tomorrow we will publish the second part of this compilation of essential applications to carry on your Android in summer.
