The CEO of the company has confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 6 for this month of April, but while we wait for its launch, new data arrives of what will be another smartphone with a large format screen of the company, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. A curious mobile for having a screen of 6.4 inch and with a processor that is not high-end.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2
The Xiaomi Mi Max was already a different mobile in the company’s smartphone catalog. Being a Mi and not a Redmi it was clear that it was from the mid-range of Xiaomi smartphones. However, it was not a flagship either. It stood out for its large-format screen and its not-so-high-level processor. And these are the same characteristics that will identify the new Xiaomi Mi Max 2, of which new details now arrive. Your screen will be 6.4 inch, surpassing even the large size of the screens of the large mobiles that we have seen in recent years. The screen will be Full HD so the image resolution would be 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, an obvious option if we consider that reaching the Quad HD would be more typical of a high-end mobile, and it would not be the case of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
As for the rest of the technical characteristics of this mobile, it seems that we also find an eight-core processor, capable of reaching a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, which fits with the processor that we expected until now, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. In addition, we would find a 4 GB RAM and with a 128 GB internal memory, so that the mobile in general would offer us very wide capacity options.
All this would be completed with a 12 megapixel main camera capable of recording in 4K, as well as a large battery that would almost reach the 5,000 mAh. The launch of the mobile is not clear yet. It will probably not launch alongside the Xiaomi Mi 6, but at the pace of the company’s introductions, a launch in April would not be unusual either.
