Xiaomi with Samsung screens
High-end Xiaomi mobiles will have Samsung’s high-quality Super AMOLED screens. So far, it seemed that Xiaomi could launch new phones with LG OLED screens. However, production problems of LG’s screens would make the screens that Xiaomi acquired finally the 6-inch Super AMOLED displays from Samsung. They will probably be screens with a resolution Quad HD, and the new mobiles would have a design without bezels.
Xiaomi Mi Note 3
The new Xiaomi Mi Note 3 would have a screen with OLED technology, but it would not be one of the new screens that Xiaomi would have bought. Actually, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 already had an OLED screen. It was a screen with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. However, the new Xiaomi Mi Note 3 would have an OLED screen with a resolution Quad HD 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
However, this new mobile would be launched before the end of the year, probably in the month of September or October. Xiaomi would have the new Samsung Super AMOLED screens in December. Specifically, Xiaomi will have one million screens in December, and 2.2 million in January. Most likely, a new high-end smartphone will be launched on the market in February or March. It could be the Xiaomi Mi 7, or it could even be the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, which would not be launched in 2017 because the year is already over, and a new high-end mobile would still have to arrive, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and a new medium-high range, the Xiaomi 5X.
In any case, it seems that The high-end Xiaomi would already have AMOLED screens in 2018, as in the case of the new Apple mobile, the iPhone 8, and other smartphones such as the OnePlus 5, or the Meizu PRO 7.
