There are two options to leave the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 “out of the box”. The first is less effective when it comes to erasing information (and also less dangerous). While the second process, called “Hard Reset”, is more efficient but the steps to take are more complex. You decide which one you want to use, since the responsibility of carrying them out is yours alone (And, by the way, you should be clear that everything inside the phablet you will lose).
Use the operating system options
Following this procedure is something that is not complex, since the Settings of the system. To open them, simply click on the cogwheel-shaped icon on the Notification Bar.
Now, look for the Backup and reset section. Enter here and the last option is Factory data reset. If you select it, the process of erasing and reinstalling the operating system will begin (the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will restart). Have some patience since this way you will have your device as the first day.
Hard Reset, the most effective way
To use this possibility in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 what you must do is turn it off completely. Once this is done, initialize the device using the following combination of buttons: Volume up + Home + Power. This will make you enter the mode called Recovery.
To move through the menus that appear on the screen, use the volume buttons and, to select, the power button. Now look for the section called Wipe data / factory reset. Select and then do the same with the option And it is.
The deletion process begins (which you can see in the yellow messages at the bottom of the screen). When finishing this, you must now choose the option Reboot system now from the initial menu. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will restart and, when this finishes, you will have the terminal as new.
From this moment you can use the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 again without problems and its operation will be exactly the same as the day you bought it. Of course, an arduous task of reinstalling applications and copying data awaits you, so arm yourself with patience.
