There will be many novelties in the design of this new Asus Zenfone 3 with respect to the previous Asus Zenfone 2. One of them is that the curved rear section that supposedly improved the use of the smartphone is lost, making it a more ergonomic phone, but also on a bigger mobile. In addition, the Asus Zenfone 2 with its 5.5-inch screen and with the bezels that the screen had, it was difficult to use with one hand, unlike what happens with other smartphones with the same screen, but with thinner bezels. In addition, it was a smartphone with technical characteristics of such a level, as was its 4 GB RAM, which was somewhat heavy.
We do not know what the technical characteristics of the new Asus Zenfone 3 will be, but we do know what its design will be, both that of the Asus Zenfone 3 and that of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the latter being the one that appears in the photograph under this paragraph, and the other the one that appears above this paragraph. It seems that the latter will feature a completely metal back case, something that is not clarified in the case of the standard Asus Zenfone 3, which means that it could be, again, a plastic case that simulates the effect of metal, just like with last year’s cell phone. Even so, it seems that both have a fingerprint reader, one on the front, in the case of the Deluxe version, and one in the rear section, under the camera. What we do see is that the Asus Zenfone 3 will likely be thinner in design than the Asus Zenfone 2.
Even so, the key to the mobile will be its technical characteristics. The Asus Zenfone 2 was already one of the first phones to have a 4 GB RAM, and stood out for its Intel processor. We do not know if this new smartphone will also have an Intel processor or not. Be that as it may, it aspires to be another of the great mobiles of the year, and its price will probably be cheaper than that of its rivals in the market of the same level, so it will have to be taken into account if we are looking for a high-level smartphone.
