In order to do this we will need YouTube Vanced, an alternative YouTube client that allows us more customization options. So let’s go to the first step.
Step 1. Download YouTube Vanced and MicroG
The first thing we will need is download the app . But it is an APK, we cannot find it in the Play Store, so we will have to download it from your page.
To download it you will have to look for the architecture of your processor, or more conveniently, download the one from «Architecture: All ». This way you make sure that you are not wrong.
You will also have to download MicroG for it. An app that allows us to log into Google, is installed on the same page, and is also an APK.
Once downloaded we do the same with the app as such, YouTube Vanced, in the same way that we have downloaded MicroG. We want it to be “all” of architecture, or failing that of the architecture of your processor, we select the color we want, in case you want to customize it to your liking and we download and install the APK. Without more mystery.
Of course, and in case there was any doubt, these applications have been tested and they are one hundred percent safe, there is no problem installing this APK.
Now we have this new YouTube client. Now we are going to see how to use gestures.
Step 2. Activate gestures
Once we have the app installed we open the options, in the same place that we would have the options with our normal YouTube app. And once in the options we select Vanced settings and we enter the section of Swipe controls and we activate them.
Step 3. Check and enjoy
And once this is done, it would be. To check it, enter a video, play it in full screen horizontally. Now to control the volume test to vertically swipe up and down on the right side of the screen. And to the brightness the same but in the left sector.
And now as we see in the images, our volume or brightness level will appear in the middle of the screen and we can modify it only with a simple vertical slide. Comfortable right? Have you already tried it? Run to do it!
