Will the Nokia 9 be unveiled, or just an improved Nokia 8?

Will the Nokia 9 be presented?

Nokia has introduced mid-range smartphones, and a new high-end smartphone, the Nokia 8. However, the Nokia 8 is not really a mobile on the level of other high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy S8. It is a somewhat simpler mobile. Let’s say it would be possible to present a Nokia 9 that is really a high-end mobile. However, Will the Nokia 9 really be unveiled?

Information has recently arrived about the possible presentation of an improved version of the Nokia 8 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. When talking about the Nokia 9, it was stated that there could be three versions, with 4, 6 and 8 GB of RAM. Finally, it was stated that the version with 4 GB of RAM memory would not be presented, but that a somewhat cheaper mobile with 4 GB of RAM memory will be presented. The Nokia 8 was presented, being a somewhat cheaper high-end than the Nokia 9 was going to be, and with 4 GB of RAM. It seemed logical that the Nokia 9 would be the smartphone that would be presented in versions of 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM.

However, the new information does not speak of a Nokia 9, but of a Nokia 8 with 6 GB of RAM and a 128 GB of internal memory. Will the Nokia 9 really be unveiled, or will just an improved version of the Nokia 8 be unveiled? And in such a case, could the Nokia 9 really be a good buy?

The truth is that today it is almost impossible for manufacturers to present a high-end smartphone that is capable of competing with the Galaxy S8 or the new iPhone on the market. Only some manufacturers manage to sell some units of their high-end mobiles. But overall, High-end mobiles are not profitable for manufacturers, as they are the most expensive, and the least sold.

Yes, they are flagships. Its function in the market is not to be the best seller, but to be the representative of the brand. If the Nokia 9 is finally presented it will not be to be the best mobile on the market, but simply to be the flagship. Of course, something smart could be not to present it in 2017, but to present a new high-end smartphone in 2018, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Perhaps it would be more intelligent considering that the Nokia 9 would no longer be a very sold smartphone .
