As you can see from the screenshots that accompany this post, the new applications that will arrive on the occasion of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a new interface design, one more typical of Android 5.0 Lollipop. And it is that, precisely the new version of the operating system that the Galaxy S6 was going to have, not only was it going to be based on Android 5.0 Lollipop in terms of functionalities, but it seems that Samsung’s interface designers too They have been inspired by the styles, colors and animations of Lollipop so that the interface of the Samsung is more similar to that of the Nexus, because that was precisely their intention.
Among the applications that have appeared, there are three that we already knew: Optical Reader, Gear Manager and Kids Mode. The latter is the children’s mode that includes a very easy-to-use interface for the smartphone and other features and content for children, while Gear Manager is the application to manage the company’s wearables, which could mean that there will be a new watch. smart in Sunday’s event. The Optical Reader application uses the camera to recognize data of interest, such as QR codes, or business cards.
However, there is a new one that we did not know, and that is Geo News. Apparently, this application will serve to see news related to our geographical location, such as emergency alerts due to earthquakes, avalanches, rains or extreme temperatures, fires, etc.
Will these applications arrive installed on the Samsung Galaxy S6? In theory it shouldn’t be like that. From what we have learned so far, there will only be two Samsung apps on the smartphone, in addition to the Galaxy Apps store. These applications may be present in Galaxy Apps, even though they are promoted as Samsung Galaxy S6 applications. In fact, S Note was expected to be one of those that would be in Galaxy Apps, and there are precisely screenshots of S Note, as you can see, so it seems a quite feasible theory.
In any case, you won’t have to wait too long. The Samsung Galaxy S6 will be launched on March 1, this Sunday, at the event that the company will hold in Barcelona, so at that time we can definitively confirm all the data and features of the new smartphone.
If you want to download the applications, you will only have to follow the link to XDA Developers at the end of the post, where you will find, in turn, links to get each of the applications. In principle, they work on the Samsung Galaxy S4, so you should have no problem installing them on any high-end Galaxy smartphone, on any other Galaxy, and it is even possible that it will work on non-Samsung smartphones.
