He Gboard, the official Google keyboard, more and more attractive. The latter is a very interesting – and at the same time dangerous – one. Interesting because it will be combined with the email application par excellence, Gmail, and dangerous because what can come to us from then on can be, hopefully, funny.
And it is that one of its most interesting functionalities and that can already be used in other applications such as WhatsApp, the search for GIFs, will now be available for us to attach them to any email.
GIFs directly in Gmail with Gboard
This is how they comment from AndroidPolice, who have already been able to try this application and it works as simple as ever. We simply select the option, look for the GIF related to the term we want (usually in English) and paste it in the email.
This new functionality will be present, specifically, in Gmail version 126.96.36.199698241, which is about to be available on Google Play but if you are impatient and cannot wait for it to appear, you can always install the APK manually. Remember that in Settings you only have to activate the option to install files from unknown sources to allow it.
GIFs, perhaps the most classic of the Internet is back in fashion
And that’s what it is, GIFs were born on the Internet almost out of necessity. At the dawn of the Red de Redes there was neither bandwidth nor processing capacity, nor streaming to support videos. That is why these animated images supplied the need to see moving images (yes, for which the Internet is ALWAYS too)
Over time they have become one of the most recurrent ways to make people laugh, criticize or give our opinion in a more or less scathing way. And for some time now, they are back in fashion since applications like WhatsApp or keyboards like Slash and Gboard quickly make them available to our most hilarious needs.
